MEMORIES OF CHUPPS |

When Jami told me about this wonderful It was our pleasure to be his number 1 babysitter whenever Jami
and Sherwick had a race to compete in. He would always come in the door; run
straight outdoors thru the doggie door to check things out, come in and give
the best snuggles ever. He loved Grandpa, Balou and Brandy, but he was definitely
Grandma’s dog during our babysitting days together. He would follow me from room to room and
lay at my feet, except for mornings, when it was our treat to go down stairs
together, while everyone else was sleeping, and snuggle together on the
couch. When we would get ready to go away in the dog car, we would let
him in first. One day, to our surprise, he grabbed the other two dog’s
leashes in his mouth and held on until they got into the car. That became one of his favorite things to
do and luckily, Balou and Brandy didn’t mind. He loved the dog park because of all the smells. He always peed
on every post and left his calling card at least two and sometimes three
times. When he was younger, he would
chase balls, chase balls, and chase balls until my arm would ache. We have a tendency to spoil our dogs and when he was with us,
he enjoyed it even more than Brandy and Balou. He had a special spot in the house for all
his stuffed animals Grandma got him and another spot for all the bones he
collected from the beef rib bones they got for their nighttime treat. Chupps may be gone, but he will forever remain in our hearts as
one of the most unique and loveable animals that have ever come into our
lives. And so, we say goodbye, with a
heavy heart, yet smiling, as we know he will be smiling down on us from that
special spot that had to be reserved just for him. WE LOVE YOU CHUPPSTER……Y Grandma & Grandpa |
